GDX Audio is the materialization of a long-held dream: to work with major companies and technologies in the field of musical instrument equipment. We pride ourselves on offering exclusive and personalized service to each client, always keeping them updated with images, videos and information about their equipment. All equipment is treated as our own with care, respect and transparency.

To achieve a high standard of quality, we work only by appointment and dedicate the necessary time to each diagnosis. We use cutting-edge equipment, original parts from approved and reliable suppliers.

Quality always comes before speed — no shortcuts.

Our maintenance diagnostics and product development are made by an engineer with 18 years of experience in electronics and audio equipment. This ensures precision and reliability in every service, avoiding unnecessary part replacements and high costs.

We currently work exclusively with amplifiers for musical instruments, active guitars and basses (onboard preamps) and effects pedals and processors.

We appreciate your trust in our work,

Eng. Gideon Gomes Jr

About the engineer:

A bass player since he was 16 and influenced by his parents, he began studying electronics early on to repair his own amplifiers, pedals and video games. Later, he began providing maintenance services for local bands, when the idea of one day having a specialized laboratory came to him.

After working in parallel sectors repairing pinballs and arcades, he was hired by the former SNAKE Amps initially to take care of the assembly and production, and later in the development of tube amplifiers and speakers.

Even as an engineer in the professional audio field for several years (first for SNAKE Amps and, later, for TRITON Loudspeakers), the maintenance and development of amplifiers, pedals and preamps for basses, never lost his focus.

In 2018, he finally opened his first GDX Custom Audio Repair laboratory in the most musical area of the city of São Paulo, where he can apply all his experience and passion for this equipments.

Now in 2025, we will also have GDX Audio Upgrades, which will present versatile and exciting  products for musicians through the rigorous eyes of those who know and understand audio and electronics. Stay tuned!
